Reading the water meters

Example for reading of a water meter

The pictured water meter shows 5301 m³ und 615,2 liters. The four red liter pointers have to be read clockwise, that means in the following order 6 > 1 > 5 > 2.

As soon as the red 100-liter pointer (with the indication x0,1) has reached zero again, 1000 l (that is 1 m³) have been consumed, and the roller counter above the red pointer counts the next cubic meter to 5302 m³.
